Qualche tempo fa la mia amica Matilde mi ha fatto scoprire un'app che permette di "dare in pasto" delle foto a un'intelligenza artificiale creata da Google: il risultato sono immagini quasi allucinogene, e sono soprattutto il modo in cui un'AI "vede" le immagini. Da lì è iniziata una ricerca sulle intelligenze artificiali e sui programmi di Deep Dream: ero curioso di vedere cosa succedeva applicando queste cose a un fumetto. Il risultato è una storia che si chiama Deep Comics che ho realizzato per Graphic News. Ed è disegnata per metà da un'intelligenza artificiale.
Some time ago, a friend of mine introduced me to the Deep Dream world: it's a program that allows to feed with images an artificial intelligence, and what you get in response are images similar to a hallucinogenic trip. I soon started to wonder what would happen if I fed the AI with drawings, the result is in this story I made for Graphic News: it's called Deep Comics and it's drawn along with an AI.
